the Giant Sable Antelope

I want to show a true wealth.
The Giant Sable Antelope is a rare species of antelope, unique to the world, which is the cradle province of Malanje Angola.
it was thought that the species was extinct as a result of the war that ravaged Angola for many years.
For the first time, in 2006, Pedro Vaz Pinto, director Luso-Angolan Kissama Foundation and professor of the Center for Studies and Scientific Research of the Catholic University of Angola (UCAN), photographed a group of Cangandala park. It was then the eternal return of this splendid and magnificent antelope to his birthplace. to save palanca were sent some in South Africa, namibia, and Brazil where there could habitats that favor more unfortunate or fortunately these above countries there was no reproduction of the species that lived there was not for long. according to African mythology, is symbol of vividness, speed and beauty: this is perhaps one of the major reasons that made despite the war, has managed to survive.

The dominant male of the herd when on display against another male, tilt your head forward, placing his horns against the opponent and straightening the body, sometimes digging or pounding the ground with his hooves.

Beautiful, huh?
